The Pass Plus Course

The pass plus course consists of six-modules of extra training covering town, country, all-weather, night, dual-carriageway and motorway driving.

As a new driver, inexperience makes you more vulnerable to the dangers of the road. Statistics show that the risk of having an accident is highest during the first years of driving after passing the driving test.

This is why the Government launched the Pass Plus programme. Backed by the Driving Standards Agency. It is designed to help new drivers gain more experience and become better equipped for the demands of modern driving. This extra training will give you more experience to help you on your way to become an even safer and more confident driver.

This course has proved popular since the saving on insurance premiums for those with pass plus can be far greater than the cost of the course. The course needs to be taken within twelve months of passing your driving test to qualify for the potential insurance benefits.

You  can claim £75 towards Pass Plus if you register with Hampshire County Council.

Andover Driving School instructors are approved and authorised to deliver the scheme for Hampshire County Council. Click on the link below to find all the information you need about the Pass plus scheme and how to claim your £75 towards the cost of the course.
